Programs we support on the Regional
and Federation level include:

Soroptimist Women’s Opportunity Award is a monetary award that assists women by giving them the resources they need to improve their education, skills and job prospects.
 

Soroptimist Violet Richardson Award is a monetary award that recognizes girls, ages 14-17, who have a passion for volunteerism in their community.
 

Soroptimist Making a Difference for Women Award, a recognition program for women who are working to improve the lives of women and girls through their personal or professional activities.
 

Soroptimist Live Your Dream Campaign, which aims to inspire women to live their dreams, and encourages them to pass their good fortune on to others.
 

On the local level, we have a strong interest in supporting education through scholarships to deserving high school seniors, as well as individual projects such as literacy programs, after school programs and more.
 

Student of the Month. We honor the students of the month at each monthly program meeting and host an Awards Banquet every June.
 

Scholarships. In 2007 we awarded over $15,000 in scholarships and awards to local students. We also give a scholarship for vocational training and a monetary award to the J.R.O.T.C
